Could your small organisation be a target for cyber criminals?

Many believe they are too small to be of interest, but the truth is that all data is valuable to hackers. Unfortunately, those who want to ensure their systems are secure often rely on non- subject matter experts for advice, leading to potential vulnerabilities.

Even if you are a micro company, one with with less than 10 employees, the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) applies to you. The UK's Information Commissioner's Office has reprimanded small organisations for failing to implement appropriate security measures.

Case 1: A UK law firm with just six staff was found to be infringing on GDPR articles related to personal data security.

Case 2: A media company based in England with less than ten employees received a reprimand for failing to implement appropriate technical security and organisational measures to properly secure its systems.

Don't take the risk of a data breach, or enforcement action. Seek advice from an expert in information security or cybersecurity to ensure your organisation is properly protected.

Remember, to cyber criminals, size doesn't matter!
